Rito James Godoy, 36, of Bryan passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2021. Funeral Services are set for 11 AM Saturday, July 10 at Greater Faith Baptist Church, Pastor Kelon Dalton will officiate and burial will follow at the Mt Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Friday, July 9 in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home.

Born September 21, 1984, in Bryan, he was the son of Jose Godoy and Alice Morales. He was a faithful member of Greater Faith Baptist Church and loved going to church on Sundays. He loved spending time with his family but especially enjoyed taking rides with his brother. Rito also loved food and was a big kid at heart. He worked on the line at Sanderson Farms for seven years.

 His parents, grandparents, and best friend Shon Foster precede him in death.

Rito leaves behind to cherish his memories, his loving wife of seven years Tynisha Godoy; two sons, Jamarian Godoy and Shon Godoy; one daughter, Shi’ann Godoy; and two brothers, Jose Godoy and Thomas Godoy.
