Rico Rodriguez

 Rico Rodriguez, 62, of Bryan, passed away Saturday, November 11, 2023. A Celebration of Life ceremony is set for 2PM Thursday, November 16, 2023, in the Chapel of Trevino Smith Funeral Home.

Born December 19, 1960, in Rosita, Coahuila, Mexico, he was the son of Oscar and Irene (Rodriguez) Nava. Rico loved barbequing, watching his favorite team, the Cowboys, having get-togethers to entertain his friends and family. He also enjoyed working on cars.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Irene; his mother-in-law, Esperanza Rios; and one grandson, Juan Benitez II.

Rico leaves behind to cherish his memories, his loving wife of thirty years, Cecilia Rios; three stepdaughters, Cecilia and husband Juan Benitez, Irene Vivero, and Yolanda Ybarra; two stepsons, Ricky and wife Monica Vivero, and, Arthur and wife Jenny Vivero; two brothers, Jose and wife Lana Nava, and, Robert and wife Blanca Nava; one sister, Norma and husband Frank Ramirez; as well as, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and loving friends.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
