Norman Glenn Hollingshead

November 9, 1938 - March 18, 2021

 

Norman Glenn Hollingshead, age 82 of Montgomery, Texas passed away on March 18, 2021. Born November 9, 1938 in Wichita Falls, Texas he was the son of the late Doyle Raymond Hollingshead and Luverna Katherine Akins.

1957 graduate of WB Ray High School, Norman served his country  in the United States Army Reserve from June 1957 - April 1963. He worked for Western Electric/AT&T retiring in 1984.  He then went on to work for Spring Branch Independent School District as a school bus driver for 15 Years. Norman enjoyed hunting, fishing, photography and wood working.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Roberta Kay Hollingshead, whom he married on April 28, 1984; three daughters, Cari Krumnow (husband Jacob) of Portland, Texas, Robbie Guercia of Grapevine, Arkansas, Mary Glenn Hobor (husband Pete) of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and one son, Norman Hollingshead Jr. of Grapevine, Arkansas; three step-sons, William Banks III (wife Melissa) of Montgomery, Texas, Matthew Banks (wife Amy) of Heath, Texas, and Christopher Banks of Montgomery, Texas; ten grandchildren, Kala (husband Kevin), Carly, Brian, Kacey, Joshua, Kasi, Noah, Amber, Nathan, and Kyle; three step-grandchildren, Krystal (husband Scott), Gabrielle (husband Connor), and Kathryn; one great-granddaughter, Brynlee; two step-great-grandchildren, Sophie and Ryan: and two brothers, Doyle (Dickie) Hollingshead (wife Diana) of Corpus Christi, Texas and Lanny Hollingshead (wife Marie) of Wimberley, Texas; two nephews, Jeff and Roy; and one niece, Lisa.

 

Norman is deeply loved by his family and many friends and will be truly missed until we are all reunited through our Savior, Jesus Christ.
