Mary Katherine (Herrera) Alvarado

October 22, 1966 – April 2, 2021

     Mary Katherine (Herrera) Alvarado, 54 of Bryan passed away Friday, April 2, 2021. Funeral Services are set for 2PM, Wednesday, April 7 at Santa Teresa Catholic Church. Father Cesar Jaime Guzman Diaz will officiate and burial will follow in the Bryan City Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8PM Tuesday, April 6 in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home with a Rosary at 6PM.

     Born October 22, 1966 in San Antonio, Texas she was the daughter of Pedro and Agapita (Perez) Sanchez. She enjoyed listening to music and spending time with her husband, family and her best friends Janis Martinez, Maria Garcia, and Maria Jimenez. Mary loved being with her grandchildren and helping others in need.

     Her parents Pedro and Agapita; and a son Jose David Herrera precede her in death.

     Mary leaves behind to cherish her memories, her loving husband, Bernabe Alvarado; two daughters and their husbands, Angelita and Robert Yeomans, and Francisca and Alfonso Torres; she also leaves eight precious grandchildren, Michael, Angel, Daniel, Mariah, Jeremiah, Jose, Sebastian, and Emmanuel.
