Maria Del Refugio Lopez Torres, 52, of Bryan Texas passed away Monday, March 29, 2021. Funeral Services are set for 2 PM Thursday, April 1 at Santa Teresa Catholic Church; burial will follow at Mt Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm Wednesday, March 31, at Trevino-Smith Funeral Home.

Born November 7, 1968 in Doctor Arroyo Nuevo Leon Mexico, she was the Daughter of Apolonio Lopez and Basilisa Torres. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family she loved cooking, dancing and enjoyed traveling. Maria was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Maria is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Jaime Rodriguez Escalante, her son, Francisco Lopez, four daughters, Rosanelly Lopez and Alfonzo Espinoza, Griselda Lopez, Brenda and Daniel Cabada, Leslie Rodriguez; four brothers, Abundio and Angela Lopez, Arnulfo Lopez, Pablo Lopez and Anna, Apolonio and Elva Lopez;  three sisters, Amelia Lopez, Antonia and Isabel Mendez, and Gloria Lopez; nine precious grandchildren, Daniella, Karina, Lizbet, Yurani, Ximena, Nicole, Dana, Carlos, and Daniel.
