June Rose Brundige, 99, of Hilltop Lakes, Texas passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2020. Graveside Funeral Services are set for 2PM Sunday, March 22 in the Hopewell Cemetery. Chaplin William Plotts will officiate.
Born September 14, 1920 in Meeker, OK she was the daughter of Homer and Edna (Eaton) Boucher. June loved fishing, tending to her garden and sewing. She also loved her dog Joy and spending time with her family. June was a strong Christian woman who loved her Church and Church family.
She is preceded in death by her parents; one son, John L. Dobbs; and two brothers.
June leaves behind to cherish her memories two sons, Carlus Ray Dobbs, and Albert Dobbs. Jerry King who has been a life-long friend. (He was like a son, whom June met while stationed in the Air Force in Altus Oklahoma.) ; four daughters, Mary Edna Payne, Brenda Sue Cunningham, Rose Ray, and Nancy Elliott; twenty-five grandchildren, seventy-one great-grandchildren, and twelve great-great-grandchildren.
