 John Edward Reyes Jr.

July 24, 1967 – April 19, 2021

    John Edward Reyes Jr. passed away April 19th, 2021 at the age of 53. Services are set for Tuesday, April 27 at 1PM in the chapel of Trevino-Service Funeral Home. Visitation is set for Monday, April 26 from 5-8PM with a 6PM Wake Service also in the Funeral Home. He was born on July 24th, 1967 to Guadalupe M. and John A. Reyes Sr. John was the oldest of four siblings who grewup in Bryan, Texas. John attended and graduated Bryan High School. He moved on to work at various groceries stores around town and finally to construction.

     John was well known for his love of football, wrestling, music and his nieces and nephews. He had an exceptional group of friends that he loved to hang out with and many people he loved to help out whenever needed. He always had a smile on his face and a contagious laugh that filled the room.

     John is survived by his mother; Guadalupe Reyes, three siblings and their spouses; Yolanda and Ignacio Arevalo, Roxanne and Francisco Esparza Sr, and Brian Sr. and Monica Reyes; four nephews; Chris Reyes, Brian Reyes Jr., Angel Reyes, and Francisco Esparza Jr.; three nieces, Mercedes and her husband Samuel Underwood Sr., Brianna Reyes, and Emily Esparza; four great nieces and nephews, Michael Reyes, Maddalynn Pfeil, Jesenia Reyes, and Samuel Underwood Jr.; two aunts, Olga Espinoza and Linda Reyes; one uncle, Arthur Reyes. Including other aunts, uncles, cousins on both sides of the family, and many friends.

     John is preceded in death by his father, John Reyes Sr.; maternal grandparents, Ramon and Augustine Martinez, and paternal grandparents, Eluteria Turrubiates and Geronimo Reyes.
