Jeorgina Ibarra Carrion, 72, of Bryan passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2021. Funeral Services are set for 2PM Saturday, September 25 at Santa Teresa Catholic Church. Father Cesar Jaime Guzman Diaz will officiate and burial will follow at Mt Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8PM Friday, September 24 with a Rosary at 6PM in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home.

Born October 16, 1948 in GTO, Mexico she was the daughter of Angel Ibarra and Sacramento Carrion. Jeorgina loved to cook and greatly enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Her parents, daughter Marie Rosa Benitez, two sisters, Carolina Carrion and Josefina Carrion precede her in death.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her loving husband of 57 years, Onorio Benitez; eight sons, David Benitez, Reinaldo Benitez, Artemio Benitez, Fermin Benitez, Leopoldo Benitez, Onorio Benitez, Rafael Benitez, and Eliseo Benitez; five daughters, Juana Benitez, Araceli Benitez, Rosa Benitez, Graciela Benitez, and Natalia Benitez; one brother, Luis Ibarra; four sisters, Carolina Ibarra, Josefina Ibarra, Guadalupe Ibarra, and Maria Angelita Ibarra, she also leaves, 47 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
