James Arlyn Worthington, 46, of College Station passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2021. Funeral Services are set for 2PM Saturday, January 23 in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1PM until service time on Saturday.
Born May 17, 1974 in Houston, Texas he was the son of James Olean and Elizabeth Sue (Nobles) Worthington. He loved to fish and most enjoyed riding his Harley. James was a volunteer firefighter in Shiro and also transported cars with his sons for many years. Barbequing his famous brisket or making his yummy peach cobbler were always among his family’s favorites. It was said that James never met a stranger; laughing, joking and making people smile were among his favorite thing to do.
His mother, Beth precedes him in death.
James leaves behind to cherish his memories, his father, James; four sons and their wives, Dalton and Imelda Wood, Cameron and Kelly Worthington, Ellijah and Kaitlyn Worthington, and John Farr; two sisters, Wendi and wife Leah Worthington, and Christina Worthington; along with two precious grandchildren, Oakleigh “Jitter Bug” Worthington, and Riley Worthington; he also leaves numerous other family members and friends.
