Ivelisse Hernandez Aponte, 80, of Bryan passed away Thursday, December 30. Funeral Services are set for 12 PM, Sunday, January 9 in the New Life World Outreach Center with Pastor William Harris officiating. Visitation will also be at the New Life World Outreach Center on Sunday, January 9 prior to her service from 11 AM until service time and after the service until 3 PM.

Born December 10, 1941, in Villalba, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of Seferino Hernandez and Juana (Aponte). Ivelisse loved reading her bible and spending time with her grandchildren. She always seemed to be busy cooking or tending to her flower garden. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. 

Her parents, Juana and Seferino, stepfather, Felix Rodriguez, loving husband of 31 years Angel Rafael Corpes, a daughter, Nydia Ivelisse Corpes, along with an infant child, three sisters, and two brothers precede her in death.

Ivelisse leaves behind to cherish her memories to her four sons and their wives, Angel Corpes and Leticia, Daniel Corpes, Eduardo Corpes, and Javier Torres and Carmen; she also leaves two daughters, Gladys Corpes, and Cynthia Corpes; as well as 22 grandchildren and 12 precious great-grandchildren.

Ivelisse Hernandez Aponte, 80, de Bryan falleció el jueves 30 de diciembre. Los servicios funerarios están programados para las 12 pm, el domingo 9 de Enero en el centro New Life World Outreach con el pastor William Harris oficiando. El velorio también será en el New Life World Outreach Center el domingo 9 de Enero empezando a las 11 am hasta la hora del servicio y después del servicio hasta las 3 p.m.

Nacida el 10 de diciembre de 1941 en Villalba, Puerto Rico, era hija de Seferino Hernandez y Juana (Aponte). A Ivelisse le encantaba leer su Biblia y pasar tiempo con sus nietos. Siempre parecía estar ocupada cocinando o cuidando su jardín de flores. Fue una madre, abuela, hermana y amiga cariñosa, y todos los que la conocieron la extrañarán profundamente.

Sus padres, Juana y Seferino, padrastro, Félix Rodríguez, amado esposo de 31 años Ángel Rafael Corpes, una hija, Nydia Ivelisse Corpes, junto con un niño pequeño, tres hermanas y dos hermanos la preceden en la muerte.

Ivelisse deja atrás para acariciar sus recuerdos a sus cuatro hijos y sus esposas, Angel Corpes y Leticia, Daniel Corpes, Eduardo Corpes, Javier Torres y Carmen; también deja dos hijas, Gladys Corpes y Cynthia Corpes; 22 nietos y 12 preciosos bisnietos.
