Germán Castillo Méndez, de 54 años, de Bryan falleció pacíficamente el jueves 28 de marzo de 2024 con su familia a su lado. Un velorio está programado para el viernes 5 de abril de 2024 de 5 p. m. a 8 p. m.; con un Rosario a las 6pm todo en la Capilla de la Funeraria Trevino-Smith. Los servicios funerarios están programados para las 12 p. m. del sábado 6 de abril de 2024 en la iglesia católica de Santa Teresa; Seguirá el entierro en el cementerio católico Mt. Calvary.

Nacido el 15 de junio de 1969 en Morillos, Ciudad Fernández, San Luis Potosí, era hijo de Martín Castillo Vega y Efrocina Méndez. A German le gustaba jugar y ver fútbol y era un gran fanático del equipo de fútbol Las Chivas. También le gustaba bailar, escuchar música, pasear en auto con amigos e ir a rodeos. Por encima de todo, German amaba a su familia y era un amigo leal.

Le precedió en la muerte un hermano, Martín Castillo Méndez.

German deja atrás para atesorar sus recuerdos a sus padres, Martín y Efroncia; dos hijos, German Castillo Jr. y Eduardo Castillo y su esposa Guadalupe Sifuentes; tres hijas, Selena Castillo y su esposo Erik Colunga, Daisy y su esposo Ismael Reyes, y Emeily Castillo; tres hermanos, Roberto y esposa Teresa Castillo, Alfonso Castillo y Refugio y esposa Eugenia Castillo; cinco hermanas, Ma. Carolina y esposo German Villanueva, Irene y esposo Juan Lara, Artemia Castillo y esposo Alfredo Galicia, Herlinda y esposo Norato González, y Gloria y esposo Bernardo Castillo; así como once queridos nietos, Israel, Lilly Ann, Hailey-Nancy, Celeste, Clarissa, Erik, Roman, Eliseo, Eduardo Jr., Elina y Adriel.

 

German Castillo Mendez, 54, of Bryan passed away peacefully Thursday, March 28, 2024, with his family at his side. A Visitation is set for Friday, April 5, 2024, from 5pm to 8pm; with a Rosary at 6pm all in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home. Funeral Services are set for 12 pm Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Santa Teresa Catholic church; burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Born June 15, 1969, in Morillos, Ciudad Fernandez, San Luis Potosi, he was the son of Martin Castillo Vega and Efrocina Mendez. German enjoyed playing and watching soccer and was a huge fan of Las Chivas soccer team. He also liked dancing, listening to music, going on drives with friends, and, going to rodeos. Above all, German loved his family and was a loyal friend.

He is preceded in death by one brother, Martin Castillo Mendez.

German leaves behind to cherish his memories his parents, Martin and Efroncia; two sons, German Castillo Jr. and Eduardo Castillo and wife Guadalupe Sifuentes; three daughters, Selena Castillo and husband Erik Colunga, Daisy and husband Ismael Reyes, and, Emeily Castillo; three brothers, Roberto and wife Teresa Castillo, Alfonso Castillo, and, Refugio and wife Eugenia Castillo; five sisters, Ma. Carolina and husband German Villanueva, Irene and husband Juan Lara, Artemia Castillo and husband Alfredo Galicia, Herlinda and husband Norato Gonzalez, and, Gloria and husband Bernardo Castillo; as well as eleven beloved grandchildren, Israel, Lilly Ann, Hailey-Nancy, Celeste, Clarissa, Erik, Roman, Eliseo, Eduardo Jr., Elina, and Adriel.
