Esther Gonzalez Gomez

Esther Gonzalez Gomez, 91, of Bryan passed away Sunday, February 2, 2020.  Visitation is set for 4-8PM Saturday, February 8 with a 6PM Rosary in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at a later date in Cortazar, Guanajuato, Mexico.

Born August 11, 1928 in Cortazar, Mexico she was the daughter of Andres Gonzalez and Bartola Gomez.  Esther loved spending time with her family, cooking and crocheting. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 70 years, Jesus Ortiz; daughter, Graciella Ortiz; two brothers, Salud Gonzalez and David Gonzalez.

Esther leaves behind to cherish her memories, three sons and their wives, Ruben Ortiz, Javier Ortiz and Hermalinda, Antonio Ortiz and Maria Del Refugio Moreno; two daughters and their husbands, Maria Ortiz and Bacilio Arriaga, and Luz Maria Ortiz; five brothers and their wives , Salvador Gonzalez and Gloria, Ignacio Gonzalez and Socoro Frias, Leandro Gonzalez, Justo Gonzalez and Teresa Galvan, Oliverio Gonzalez and Raquel Martinez; two sisters and their husbands, Antonia Gonzalez and Manuel Cuevas, Juana Gonzalez and Filberto Martinez; twenty-five grandchildren; forty-five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
