 May 3, 1939 – February 22, 2020

       Cruz Ramos Torres, 80, of Bryan passed away Saturday, February 22, 2020.  Visitation will be from 5 – 8PM Saturday, February 29 with a 6PM Rosary in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mexico at a later date. Born May 3, 1939 in Cruz de Elorza Nuevo Leon, Mexico he was the son of Isabel Ramos and Raquel Torres. Cruz enjoyed playing cards, shooting dice, and buying and selling goats. He was a very happy person with lots of friends, always willing to help people and was a good role model for others.

       He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 57 years Angelina Acosta.

       Cruz leaves behind to cherish his memories, four sons, Vicente  and wife Isabel Ramos, Armando Ramos and Eva, Juan Carlos Ramos and Maria Elena, and Ruben Ramos and Irene; six daughters, Carmen and her husband Soul Moreno, Basilisa and Rosario Ortega, Leticia and Carlos Escalon, Francisca and Eliazar Morales, Yolanda and Lorenzo Lara, and Veronica and Juan Morales; two brothers, Rojelio Ramos Andrea, and Frederico Ramos and Josephina; two sisters, Antonia and Felipe Ramos, and Agustina Rentefia; and thirty six grandchildren and  thirteen great-grand children.
