El velorio será de 5 a 8 p.m. el lunes 18 de abril con un velorio que se recitará a las 6 p. m. en la capilla de Treviño-Smith Funeral Home. El sepelio está programado para el martes 19 de abril a las 11 a.m. en el cementerio de la ciudad de Bryan.

    Nacida el 2 de marzo de 1959 en Harlingen, Texas, era hija de Julián Rodríguez y Nicolasa Pineda. Le encantaba pasar tiempo con su familia y amigos. Era una madre cariñosa y ejemplar. Era una mujer muy fuerte que siempre fue muy positiva en todo aspecto de la vida y muy trabajadora.

     Sus padres, Julián y Nicolasa; un hermano, Noe Rodriguez, y su esposa, Esther la preceden en la muerte.

    Carmen deja atrás para atesorar sus recuerdos a su devoto esposo durante 40 años, Macario Rivera; hijo, Ricardo Rivera y esposa, Sylvia; tres hijas, Yolanda Hernandez, y esposo, Christopher Ramirez, Maria Rivera, y Irma Rivera; cuatro hermanos, Robert Rodriguez y esposa, Linda, Frank Rodriguez y esposa, Margie, Raul Rodriguez, y esposa Amanda, y Billy Rodriguez; dos hermanas, Betty y esposo, Jason Davidson, y Norma Pineda; siete adorables nietos, Rosalinda, Juana, Leodan, Alexander, Ana, Susana, Daphanie.

    Carmen Rodriguez Rivera, 63, of Bryan passed away Thursday, April 14, 2022. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM on Monday, April 18 with a Wake service to be recited at 6 PM in the chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home. A graveside service is set for Tuesday, April 19 at 11 AM at Bryan City Cemetery.

    Born March 2, 1959, in Harlingen, Texas, she was the daughter of Julian Rodriguez and Nicolasa Pineda. Carmen enjoyed music and dancing. She loved spending time with family and friends. She was a loving and caring mother and a wonderful grandmother. She was a strong woman who always had a positive outlook on life.

    Her parents, Julian and Nicolasa; one brother, Noe Rodriguez, and his wife, Esther precedes her in death.

    Carmen leaves behind to cherish her memories her devoted husband of 40 years, Macario Rivera; son, Ricardo Rivera and wife, Sylvia; three daughters, Yolanda Hernandez, and husband, Christopher Ramirez, Maria Rivera, as well as Irma Rivera; four brothers, Robert Rodriguez and wife, Linda, Frank Rodriguez and wife, Margie, Raul Rodriguez, and wife Amanda, and Billy Rodriguez; two sisters, Betty and husband, Jason Davidson, and Norma Pineda; seven adorable grandchildren, Rosalinda, Juana, Leodan, Alexander, Ana, Susana, Daphanie.
