Brenda JoAnn Nixon (Satterfield) was born September 19, 1953 in Edinburg, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her father Lonzo Satterfield and mother Dolly Shannon and step-father Floyd Shannon.

She is survived by her brother Lonzo Satterfield and sister-in-law Nancy Satterfield of Bryan, Texas; nieces, Tiffany and Erica Williams of Franklin, Texas, and Tonya and husband Randy Gray of Franklin, Texas; great-niece, Autumn Gray of Franklin, Texas; nephew Ij and wife Joanna; great-nephews, Logan, Wyatt, Gunner, Remington, and Bowen all of Caldwell, Texas.
