Ascencion Torres, 61, of Bryan passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021. A Rosary Services is set for 6PM Wednesday, January 27 in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home. Visitation will also be on Wedneday from 5 to 8PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at a later date in Mexico.

Born May 7, 1959 in Penon Blanco Durando, Mexico he was the son of Santiago and Maria Del (Pilar) Torres. He enjoyed sports of any kind but especially loved his Dallas Cowboys. Ascencion enjoyed listening to all kinds of music but especially he liked it loud. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

His mother, Maria Del Pilar precedes him in death.

Ascencion leaves behind to cherish his memories, his father Santiago;  his loving wife of 30 years Esperanza Torres; two sons, Jose Torres, and Noe Torres; a daughter Maria Guadalupe Torres; six brothers, Victor, Enrique, Guadalupe, Julio, Ambrosio, and Manuel; three sisters Gloria, Martha, and Maria Del Pilar; and four precious grandchildren, Jaelynn, Alan, Heidi, and Christian.
