       Shirley G. Francis, 79, of College Station passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2019. A Memorial Service is set for 10AM Saturday, September 21 in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home.

       Born August 28, 1940 in Denver City, Texas she was the daughter of Glen and Willie (King) Randolph. Shirley loved to go get her hair cut and colored (we never knew if she was going to be a red head or a blonde), her nails done and a pedicure every month, she always wanted to look her best. She loved taking care of her grandchildren they were always number one to her. She loved to cook especially on holidays. She taught her family how to be better cooks and gave them some great recipes to carry on her traditions. She loved to make Christmas ornaments with beads and watch TV. Her favorite show was Forensic Files the family believes it was because she worked for the DA’s office in Wichita, KS for years, it was always fascinating to her how they solved the cases. Shirley always greeted people with a smile and had great stories to tell, she was beautiful inside and out.  

       She is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 50 years, Donald Gene Francis; and a daughter, Julie Schneider.

       Shirley leaves behind to cherish her memories, two sons, Thurman (Duke) Francis and Eva East, and Glenn and Stephanie Francis; one sister-in-law, Sharon Dyer; one sister, Janis Randolph; nine grandchildren, Kevin Francis, Toni East, Zoe East, Megan and Matthew Rich, Korie Johnson, Branden and Andrea Francis, Kyler Oles and Ellen Reed, Jacob and Miley Francis, and Katelyn Francis; and eight great-grandchildren, Shelby Johnson, Ethan Johnson, Jamison Johnson, Cloie Rich, Logan Rich, Lucas Rich, Beau Francis, and Aria Francis.
