       Ruben Garcia, 64, of Navasota formally of Bryan passed away Saturday, August 25, 2018.Funeral Services are set for 3PM Saturday, September 1 in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5-8PM Friday August 31 also in the Funeral Home.

       Born August 3, 1954 in Huron, Ohio he was the son of John R. and Nellie Mae (Bonner) Garcia. Ruben loved to Garden, going camping, fishing, and being outside. He was a hard worker and enjoyed working. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend and will be missed by all who knew him.

       He is preceded in death by his parents; one sister; and one brother.

       Ruben leaves behind to cherish his memories, his lovely wife Sheila Garcia; two daughters, Misty Garcia, and Amber Garcia; four step-children, Richard Fetters, Shelly Small, Sherly Lucero, and Sherry Fetters; three brothers, Richard Garcia, Jessie Garcia, and John Garcia Jr.; three sisters, Frances Ortega, Mary Anne Rocha, and Barbara Rodriguez; and twelve grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
