         Roy Edward Alexander, 71, of College Station passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2019. Funeral Services are set for 10AM Saturday, September 14 in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home, with burial to follow in the Bryan City Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, September 13 from 5-8PM also in the funeral home.

         Born December 18, 1947 in Houston, Texas he was the son of Artie Alexander and Betty Jean and Allen Hart. He enjoyed visiting with old friends, spending time with his beloved grandchildren, and his church family. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

         He is preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Betty Denise; and two brothers, John Wesley Hart and Jimmy Wayne Alexander.

         Roy leaves behind to cherish his memories, his loving wife of 49 years, Johnnie Annette Alexander; one son, John Walker and wife Nicole Alexander; two daughters, Rebecca K. and Adam Macik, and Rachel Renee and Malcolm Macias; one brother, Tommy Hart; one sister, Elaine Bissey; and six loving grandchildren.
