Madora Denise Swist

January 12, 1986 – November 3, 2018

 

        Madora Denise Swist, 32, of Bryan passed away Saturday, November 3, 2018. Funeral Services are set for 11AM Saturday, November 10 in the New Zion Missionary Baptist Church. Rev. Sylvester Smith Jr. will officiate and burial will follow in the Bryan City Cemetery. A Visitation will be from 5-8PM Friday, November 9 in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home.

       Born January 12, 1986 in Bryan, she was the daughter of Charles Edward Swist and Frances Bates Swist. She was an awesome mother to her precious three sons. Madora had a passion for caring for the elderly and loved being in the nursing field. She was a devoted daughter, loving mother, sister, aunt, and friend and will be missed deeply by all who knew her.

       She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Edward Swist; grandparents, Roger and Azella Swist; grandmother, Frances Bates; and an uncle Clarence Schuler.

       Madora leaves behind to cherish her memories, her mother, Frances Swist; three loving sons, Dustin Keith King Jr., Justin Malika King, and Nicholas Parnal Walker; two brothers, Carey Lynn and his wife Lataria McClendon, and Joey Tiwan and wife Tracee McClendon; three step-brothers, Branden Price, Bradlee Price, and Rayland Robinson Jr., and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
