       Juanita “Janey” Medina, 65, of Bryan passed away Sunday, October 27, 2019. Funeral Services are set for 11AM Saturday, November 2 with a 12PM Rosary in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home.

       Born April 23, 1954 in Tacoma, Washington she was the daughter of Daniel and Angela (Sustaita) Ramirez. Janey liked to collect and watch movies especially scary ones. She enjoyed cheering for her favorite football team, the San Francisco 49ers. Janey was hard working and dedicated to her family. She was a devoted wife and loving mother. She will be missed deeply by all who knew her.

       She is preceded in death by her parents; and sister-in-law Alissa Ramirez.

       Janey leaves behind to cherish her memories; her husband of 34 years, Joe Medina; two sons, Luke Castro, and Joey Medina; four daughters, Erica Cox and husband Chris, Laura Salazar and husband Greg, Jamie Reyes and husband David, and Apryl Medina; two brothers, Jerry Ramirez and wife Evelyn, and Michael Ramirez; one sister, Mary Lockett and husband Rick; and grandchildren, Kristi, Ryan, Kaitlyn, Megan, Jaden, Elaina, Jacob, Aaron, David, and Zeke.
