       Elisena Romero Gomez, 88, of Bryan passed away Friday, April 12, 2019. Funeral Services are set for 11AM Thursday, April 18 in Santa Teresa. Visitation will be from 5-8PM Wednesday, April 17 with a 6PM Rosary in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home.

       Born May 13, 1930 in Waelder, TX she was the daughter of Alfredo and Maria (Melchor) Reyes. Elisena loved dancing, cooking and listening to music. She enjoyed helping others in need. She loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren.

       She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Cruz Romero; one brother; one sister; and two sons, Jessie, and Alfredo Romero.

       Elisena leaves behind to cherish her memories, one son, Henry Romero and wife Olga; two daughters, Cecelia Aleman and husband Manuel Aleman, and Jolanda Moreno and husband Noe; one daughter-in-law, Minga Romero; ten grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren and twelve great-great-grandchildren.
